The journey begins with West Coast Synthetic Coating’s founder, Scott Robinson.

In 1979, after graduating high school, he became an apprentice at San Diego Waterproofing, where he began to learn about the waterproofing craft. After a few years, he was able to work towards his contractors license in 1991 and in 1992 co-founded South Coast Waterproofing. He was able to build a customer base built on quality workmanship and trust.

In 2019 he opened the doors to West Coast Synthetic Coatings, emphasizing quality work and attention to detail with every job. Waterproofing isn’t just in the premium materials that are used, but in the people behind each job and with over 40 years of experience, the crew at WCSC is here to make sure each project is done properly.
